Formally diagnosed with Adult Autism on November 11 by a trusted clinician, Dr. Pasha’s journey reflects the silent struggles many women face before discovering their neurodivergent truth.
For decades, she lived through misdiagnosis and misunderstanding — from childhood stuttering and ADHD to dyslexia and learning disabilities — navigating academic failures and cultural expectations while searching for belonging in a world not built for minds like hers.
Her story invites empathy, shedding light on how Autism in women often goes unseen, masked beneath resilience, creativity, and survival instincts.
Beneath her academic and clinical achievements lies a powerful history of bullying, childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, narcissistic abuse, and identity theft.
She faced three evictions, periods of homelessness, and even imprisonment due to systemic failures — yet emerged as a living symbol of courage and compassion.
These adversities shaped her mission: to humanize trauma, to teach others that healing is not weakness but strength in motion. Her story embodies the truth that you can be both broken and beautiful — and still rise.
Diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder in her undergraduate years and later with Bipolar Disorder and Complex PTSD, Dr. Pasha learned to embrace her neurochemistry rather than fear it. Through mindful medication, meditation, yoga, and self-compassion, she transformed her diagnoses into doorways for self-discovery.
Her “cookie light” philosophy — small daily joys of laughter, dance, and creativity — became her medicine for emotional regulation and inner balance.
Having lived in twenty homes across five U.S. states — New Jersey, New York, Florida, Georgia, and California — and traveled across Switzerland, Prague, Vienna, Lisbon, Budapest, and Turkey, Dr. Pasha calls herself a “Gypsy Mind.”
Each destination became a classroom of compassion, deepening her understanding of multicultural psychology, cross-cultural resilience, and the universal need for belonging.
These experiences cultivated her signature blend of science, spirituality, and storytelling, connecting her to clients from all cultures and walks of life.
At Purusha Yoga Studio, Dr. Pasha learned to embody the art of healing through movement, mindfulness, and spiritual practice.
Her approach bridges CBT, DBT, ACT, Somatic Therapy, and Mindfulness, integrating Islamic wuzu rituals, Sufi zikr meditation, and Buddhist body scans.
Each practice reconnects the body with the mind, teaching that healing is found not only in therapy rooms but in the rituals of daily life — water, breath, music, and prayer.
While working as an ABA Therapist in California, Dr. Pasha recognized herself in the autistic youth she served — in their sensory sensitivities, patterns, and deep emotional worlds.
This realization became the foundation of her advocacy for Autism in Women and Neurodiversity Awareness.
She rejects the outdated puzzle-piece symbol, instead embracing the multicolor infinity ribbon — a representation of acceptance, authenticity, and the infinite diversity of the human mind.
Dr. Pasha’s unique blend of business acumen and clinical training allows her to counsel professionals across corporate and healthcare sectors.
